Nepia Genki Pants Review

I just got my hands on this sample at Aeon Big , Midvalley after visiting the TCE Mama Expo (held from 30July till 1Aug.

Nepia, Genki Pants appears to be from a Japan Company but locally made in Malaysia. A.ka. Japanese technology but Malaysia assembly.

Both looks the same, no written words to indicate front or back. It only stated blue lines is the front. This is bad for my mum which has bad eyesight due to old age. She cants actually see the blue lines due to long sighted. My maid too has a problem of the front n back because our house's light was a bit dimp,so she can't see the lines as well.

First look, diaper doesn't look very pretty. One tone colour of light blue. Not much of design. Gave me a feeling of a very "economical" diaper look. Texture wasn't much of an expectation  as i was having the mindset of Merries Diaper & Mamypoko Air fit which is also made in Japan and Japan Technology.
No sticky tapes to "tapao" (wrap) the filthy diaper after use.

It somehow makes me feel like Nepia Japan is looking down at us, Malaysian Mums. How dare you give this kind of quality of diaper to us and claims it is Japan Technology? I really feel disappointed with it and feels that Nepia think we, Malaysian are very cincai until simply put one lousy diaper also we can say Ichiba!

The introductory price of the diaper is about RM36.90 for a jumbo pack of 60 over pieces for M size. If it naik harga, please don't buy it anymore. Because the texture and feeling is totally like  Dryper pants. It is advisable to stay at that brand if this Nepia brand is expensiver than Drypers and Huggies. Besides, Drypers and Huggies design looks much more cuter than Genki Pants.

After 2 usage of these Genki Diaper, Sam did not feel comfortable with it. Why so? She kept poking her V part and tends to pull it away from her V  . It makes her look like she has a "tight" underwear that kept poking her inner thighs.  I realised it was also the elastic bands between her thighs. It is not tight but the texture of the pants made her feel uncomfortable.

Therefore, Malaysia Nepia...u have lots of amendments to be done to capture the hearts of Malaysia Parents. All the best.

Huggies Ultra Pants Review

As you can see, there's a bag of Huggies Ultra Pants for Girls in my stroller..
Story goes like this, I was out of town wit my baby and husband at Johor for a few days before we head into Singapore. The silly me forgotten to pack "extra" diapers and I've to grab some before entering Singapore. (do mind that Singapore exchange rate is pretty exp)

Following are the outlook of the diaper..
The store i went; Tesco didn't carry Merries walker pants. Mamypoko air fit pants only starts on Size L and Sam is only a M size girl. ..So I've to opt for another brand... (yes,  walker pants are easy for travelling. no need to lay down to change but a standing position will do)

This brand caught my eyes due to its promo price at RM 44.90 for 56 pcs (I aimed for a jumbo pax, god knows how much sam will need for 3 nights stay at SG)

Then, I started on wearing it on Sam and i already don't like it. Sam weights about 9kg and the diaper looks very saggy and "Droppy" even though it stated 6kg above.

Big bulk between the thighs, sticky tape behind for disposal purposes (This is esssential for travellers, as i often change Sam in the car and i need it to be tape down cuz i will only throw it at a pit stop). The sides of the diaper is hard to torn and i often ended up being elastic by its "elastic bands" around the waist area. Unlike Merries Walker pants, the tear is smooth and nice. This Huggies Gold Pants tend to be bumpy and there are fibres "Flying" around when i tore it.  The absorbent too is not as good as it claims. softness is ok but needs a change every 3 hours else Sam will develop rashes or diaper will looks like its being weight down to the legs due to the fitness of the diapers on Sam.

In the end, after a bag of this.. I'll not purchase it again....

Merries Walker Pants Review

Kao Merries has always been my all time favourite diaper ever since I tried it on Sam.

Texture of it was great and soft which doesn't give Sam rashes..

This picture has shown me buying a dozen of it to stock due to the promotion that they have. RM58.90per bag for tapes, and RM39.90 per bag for pants. The next time I will stock it will be Baby expo this coming 30th Sept because whenever Kao participates a baby fair...their offer are so great that u will think of stocking for a year supply!

I started giving Sam walker pants this recently because she cant lay still for a nappy change. With the Walker pants, I have a peace of mind! I still use the tape ones during night though...cheaper in a sense.. walker diaper costs more~!

Look at the W pattern on Sam's inner thighs? that's the effect I want. The rest of the diaper brands doesn't have such flexibilities (Mamypoko Air fit has it too) It is so nice, Sam loves the diaper and she is willing to come to me for a change whenever I hold a clean piece. Legs lift left and right , and off she goes!!!!

Happy Baby Super Food Puffs + Apple Monkey Organic Cracker + Little Jellies Corn Cakes Review

Hi, I'm back with reviews again...

With Sam of 17 months, I've started introducing snacks to her to let her occupied with it which allows me some moments to do some household work...

Of course, as we all know...snacks often create lots of trouble if we tend to give it a lot with less water intake. e.g of troubles: phlegm, throat irritations...HARD stools! oh yes, there's once I gave sam crackers and she ended up pretty badly....Little Monster wouldn't not drink her water after all these...

And so...I discovered this... Happy Baby Puffs made in USA at Aeon's rack...

One greatest inventions of all times, Sam adores it...tummy was okay with it..even without water, she wouldn't have any hard stools because it claims that it was sweetened by 100% fruit juice and its ORGANIC! Right...the word organic makes me excited and feels healthy~~~!

It is not filling as it melts in the mouth even though it is crunchy! So sam still can have a bowl of rice after a cup of this.

Less Mess made and easy to handle. Sam will just picked it up by herself while watchcing her favourite Peppa Pig show...which allows me to do my household chores in peace!

The  Only downfall of this product is its container is not air-tight. So do remember to shift all the puffs to another container to keep it.

I recently discovered with coupons of 11 streets, I can get it at a cheaper rate! hooray!!! Usually, I will have to pay RM 21.99 for a bottle of it. At 11street, it is about 16.90 after coupon discounts! Yippee!! Thank you 11street cuz Sam can easily wacked a bottle without stopping! With such great discounts, my wallet is saved!

Next Stop, this Apple Monkey Organic Crackers. It is one of my favourite in giving sam. Same as Happy Baby, it melts in the mouth. But with this crackers, it comes in individual packs. Meaning, I do not need to store it in a container to bring it out. I usually bring this if I go for travelling.

Did I mentioned that this is made in Thailand? I first saw this at Aeon which is selling at RM16.99. To my amaze when I went to Big C at Bangkok, this was only 76bath. Almost Twice of the price cheaper! So, mummies out there..do remember to grab a bunch if u r in Bangkok! Comes in more flavours than the ones we saw at Aeon.

Got this at 11street when I bought it the Baby Puffs of 6 bottles.
Abit disappointed with the seller because this free gift was about to expired next month. I was hesitating whether to give Sam a bite or not by putting it on the table and the next thing I know. My maid has put it in her Tupperware and I brought it out during breakfast.

Picture of Sam eating the corn cakes.

No, she didn't had any diarrhoea. (Thank god~!) and she just chewed on it anyway.. Sam doesn't have any problem eating this and can go on and on with it even after breakfast was served. (I usually gives her puffs to eat before food arrives..to silent her up)

These Corn Cakes can be found at Aeon as well at the price of RM11.90 ( sales) or RM 13.90 each bag.

Before I end my post, mummies out there...pls do remember, these snacks are not meals...meaning u still need to prepare stable food for your young ones. I only gave sam these snacks to fill up the gaps so that I can do my chores in a more easy way........

Pampers Active Baby Pants Review

After having an amazing experience with Pampers Cruiser (Made in Korea)  that I bought from 11 Street, I was confident that the brand of Pampers will definitely suits Sam.

I didn't even asked the seller where does these Pampers are made from because I was so pleased with their Cruisers!

So without further ado, I quickly bought this series with an amazing price.

As you know, 11street always have this amazing voucher to be downloaded from time to time.

it was at the price of RM151.67 for 3 bags of 82 pcs and with my voucher it was discount to the price of RM 112.03 with free shipping!

And After my amazing calculation, one piece is about 46 cents.

Cheaper than anything  brands lo!!!

These darlings are made in Indonesia and carter for Indonesia. (Yes, so sad. Malaysia don't import these P&G babies.)

Softness cannot compared with Merries. (Of course la, Merries always cost me Almost RM1.20 for a piece.)

But with such a fussy Sam, it can last me whole night too! Without leakage and it is always dry + rashes free.

Sam weights about 7.8kg now. So these M sizes still fits her well at the age of 1. She shrunks! And She used to wear L size due to her fatty thighs...now? jump back to M size. Guess more pcs than L size huh....

Anyway, To those kids who can't use Drypers Brand, I strongly suggest u to buy this brand from 11street. However, these PAmpers always sold out fast whenever it is up for sale.

So do look out at 11Street from time to time to grab great deals!

Similac Gain Plus Step 3 Review

Sam is finally 1 years old! So fast time flies! So I've to change her formula milk from Step 1 to Step 3! Yeah!!!Cheaper Supply!!!

Hahaha!!! Why skip a step? Because I made a phone call to Abbott Malaysia recently to enquire about it. Should I transit from Enfalac Step 1 to Step 2 Similac or just move to Step 3 instead. Advisor on the line told me just Step 3 will do as I told them Sam is eating well and Step 2 was for babies of 6months to 18 months. So why waste the time to get suited to it and change it again after sometime..

Oh, why do I change from Meadjohnson to Abbott suddenly?

Well, its complicated. I really love that brand and I did tried Enfagrow Step3. It turns out that Sam's tummy couldn't take it. She had her 1st hard stool and her anus was bleeding after forcing it out. I actually uses my hand to dig it out. yes. I know...so disgusting right but what de heck, little girl is crying out loud. I tried by making the milk more watery and made barley water for her still...the SAME outcome.

So, I adopted Abbott's Similac Gain Plus...I read it online about it and I love their veg blend oil. Their list of nutrients look ok too. But compared to enfagrow, maybe lesser DHA. But what to do?!
Plus, my sister in law gave similac to her kids and they are quite smart for their age.
Also, I am an Ensure Milk drinker. So I gave sam a try on this.

Immediately, she finishes every ounce of it and fell in love with it.

Normal stool and happy baby!

Price is ok and always give lousy promotion. they have this promo whereby you need to collect 48 scoopes only u can change a can of Similac.

Lousy presents as well. In fact, no presents at all! Abit disappointed because other brands gave blankets and etc.....

Maybe their milk is good till no need promo also people like me will continue to buy for their sake of children lo...

Recenttly, I went to an Abbott Fair at Midvalley's Aeon Big. Price for Similac was great at the price of RM 115.80 for 1.8kg.  But with no free gifts, unlike Enfagrow they are giving crayons and etc. Similac has none.

Being a stockist, again I bought 12 cans of it and it is my stock for the year.

So see you again Supermarket or Chinese medicine hall! or whenever my stocks of it ran out!

Pampers cruiswe Review in Malaysia

Recently, I've bought Pampers brand from 11street. As we all know, Pampers is no longer selling at our local supermarket. I was a Pampers baby according to my mum and I was eager to try this brand out when I accidentally stumbled on this at 11street.

Lucky for me I've gotten myself a 22% voucher at 11street! Hurray, so I used it and I got myself a piece of diaper at the price of RM0.46!

CHEAP! Even without the voucher, I still think it is cheap compared to Merries.

Pampers cruiser to be exact. ..

Bear in mind that if your goods is over RM99, shipping fees are free at 11street.

The seller for the Pampers was fast and great. Within 3 days I got the stuff delivered to my doorstep.

Sam was weighing about 7.5kg. (Yes I know, damn small for a year old baby) and I've overpurchased Size L Merries. So without further ado, I opened up the pampers package.

I discover the size is actually smaller and slimmer than Merries. However, the elastic band was great. It can accommodate Sam's big tummy and just nice to wrap sam's little thighs...

Design is bit plain with the logo can be seen behind. I've compared this brand with my all-time -favourite, Merries, this brand works well with Sam. It doesn't leak at night and rashes-free even the whole night full with it.

Maybe this is an imported brand of diaper, made in Korea. That's y sam can use.

With all these brands of diapers, I come to realise that Sam can only use diapers that are made in Korea and Japan!

What an expensive Butt!
