I just got my hands on this sample at Aeon Big , Midvalley after visiting the TCE Mama Expo (held from 30July till 1Aug.
Nepia, Genki Pants appears to be from a Japan Company but locally made in Malaysia. A.ka. Japanese technology but Malaysia assembly.
Both looks the same, no written words to indicate front or back. It only stated blue lines is the front. This is bad for my mum which has bad eyesight due to old age. She cants actually see the blue lines due to long sighted. My maid too has a problem of the front n back because our house's light was a bit dimp,so she can't see the lines as well.
First look, diaper doesn't look very pretty. One tone colour of light blue. Not much of design. Gave me a feeling of a very "economical" diaper look. Texture wasn't much of an expectation as i was having the mindset of Merries Diaper & Mamypoko Air fit which is also made in Japan and Japan Technology.
No sticky tapes to "tapao" (wrap) the filthy diaper after use.
It somehow makes me feel like Nepia Japan is looking down at us, Malaysian Mums. How dare you give this kind of quality of diaper to us and claims it is Japan Technology? I really feel disappointed with it and feels that Nepia think we, Malaysian are very cincai until simply put one lousy diaper also we can say Ichiba!
The introductory price of the diaper is about RM36.90 for a jumbo pack of 60 over pieces for M size. If it naik harga, please don't buy it anymore. Because the texture and feeling is totally like Dryper pants. It is advisable to stay at that brand if this Nepia brand is expensiver than Drypers and Huggies. Besides, Drypers and Huggies design looks much more cuter than Genki Pants.
Therefore, Malaysia Nepia...u have lots of amendments to be done to capture the hearts of Malaysia Parents. All the best.
